Welllet's start it then... what about an interview?

• Who are you and Where are you coming from?

Myname is Aïda and I study History at the ULB in Brussels. I'm anartist daughter, half-music (dad) and half-plastic arts (mum). I'mactually half-a lot of things: half chocolate and half vanilla, halfUSA and half Belgium. It's kind of hard not to mention my parentshere. I mean we are talking about creation aren't we? And with amusician-author-composer daddy and a painter-sketcher-ceramist mummyI grew up in a weird world.

• How would you describe yourself?

Schizo?I mean... I AM interviewing my self....

Moreseriously, I think I'm communicative gal, I love languages and I'mquite easily all over my head (If you are able to follow my moodsprings you'll have a little medal) You can ask my friend, I'm a bitof the crazy kind.

• How did you ended up creating stuff and sewing?

Itried to fight it, I swear! I've always told my self “no art for aliving” Well I nearly succeeded on the living part but not on thecreation. I've been playing Violin for more than 13 years now (I'verecently entered my University orchestra) but I realized that even ifI didn't want to as a teenager I can not survive without creatingstuff, thinking of things and make them become real.

Istarted sewing just like this, out of nowhere, in September 2009,Knitting in October 2011 and all the rest comes like this. I do loveredecorating my home, changing the furniture organization and movingthem all around every six month.

• What inspires you?

EVERYSINGLE THING: people, clothes, jewelry around me, the 50's, 40's,60's and others and a lot (too much) internet (pinterest will killme)

• What do you love? What are you most interested in?

I'ma geeky geek, I love gadgets and the internet is my home. I loveHistory, design and home decoration, I'm a big Ikea fan (so... I saidit... happy?). I'm really interested in sexuality history and eventhough I tried to lie about it... I'm a girl (tadaaaaa! *specialrevelation music*) and I have a big thing for purses (I try tocontrol it). I love music, reading and watching films and shows (Ilove animation films). Ah... and I have a passion for Sushi's.

• And where do you stand in your life?

I'm21 and in my third year of History at the Free (of mind) Universityof Brussels. I currently live with the love of my life, my MisterPrince K. (the one with the cookies!), my kitty,Bubble-Bubbleyboo-Bulle and my turtoise, Yoshi. And we have loads ofprojects (especially me :p)

• And Finally "The" question? Why a blog?

Forme. I'm a selfish person I know ^^. I need to keep a trace of mycreations and if I can share them in the same time... why not?
